At Fiskano, we value a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our team of 22 employees reflects a healthy balance in gender, age, and background, with 40% women and 60% men, something we are proud in a male-dominated industry.

We look beyond diplomas and focus on talent, mindset, and the willingness to grow. We foster an open and transparent company culture, where employees are actively involved through weekly team meetings and monthly management alignment. This ensures that everyone remains connected to the direction of the company. Creating a safe and respectful working environment is essential to us. We monitor employee satisfaction, maintain clear protocols for inappropriate behaviour, and provide access to a confidential advisor.

Our policies and Risk Inventory & Evaluation are reviewed and updated annually. We actively support personal development by offering an annual training budget and opportunities for further education during working hours.

In addition, we promote employee vitality through initiatives such as a company bicycle plan, preventive medical check-ups, and accessible occupational health support.

Fiskano believes that fair and safe working conditions throughout the supply chain are essential for both people and product quality. We build long-term relationships with our suppliers, giving us insight into their operations and the ability to encourage responsible practices.

In higher-risk regions, we prioritize working with suppliers who can provide a SMETA audit or similar social compliance standard. Where this is not yet feasible, we rely on close cooperation and the experience of our buyers to assess working conditions.

We aim to make this approach more structured and transparent, with the ambition that by 2030 our key suppliers will be able to provide a SMETA audit or equivalent.
